VERN By Request (Album)

Brooke’s Beloved Father Dr. Vernon Alford Jr. transitioned in 2020 from cancer. Vernon worked in education leadership for over 30 years. After his retirement, it was his dream to record an album in celebration of his love for music and performing. Vernon was quite the entertainer wherever he went! Brooke helped him through the process of recording and the resources needed to get the album done. “By Request” was released in 2019, just less than one year before Vernon’s final day on Earth. In his honor, Brooke started The Dr. Vernon R. Alford Jr Purpose-filled Life Fund (The PFL Fund) for young Creatives. The proceeds from this album go toward The PFL Fund.
